Default jdmjeff: new pics of my new tsx but its no "coffe n cream"...

you probably remember me by my hatch but i recently put if up for sale. (its still for sale for $6k so buy her ) but i always loved the styling of the tsx so i found the one i wanted and drove 8 hours to pick her up.. its an '04 FBP 6-speed w/ black interior... truely an awesome car, decent power (quicker than a stock gsr teg) great styling, love the hid's, awesome acura fit-n-finish.. all around a great car and i got a steal on it... enjoy!

BUT what rims should i get on it? THANKS

heres some pics of the weekend warrior for now:

maybe he doesn't want another small 2 door car. How does the tsx blow? Its almost the exact same car as the jdm Euro-R, which will give a RSX type R a run for it's money.

    +4 for a clean car.

has the same power as the rsx? or similar... 205 outa the K24. it was between the rsx, tsx, and the TL...

RSX is too small plus it would be another money pit, plus more insurance plus more expensive.

TL way too grown up for me.... very quick but doesnt handle and everyone has one

TSX handles like a glove, roomy, decently quick... quicker than a non type-s rsx, stock HID's,

PLUS i still have the coffee-n-cream hatch till i build the best one on the east coast

the TL is a 3.2 litre that REALLY halls ass! very quick car. but didnt have the 6-speed like my car has. Has a higher price tag than the tsx and is hundreds of pounds heavier than the tsx. it geared towards the mid to upper thirtys croud. and doesnt handle better, and more recalls.

Tsx is smaller more nimble, less power but still "vippy" great gas milage. proven power plant, proven chassie (due to the euro accord) easier to work on (more me anyways) still has most of the same options as the TL also. and its aimed towards our croud... the 20 croud but thats my i still LOVE the TL though

ah so in our terms the tl is a acura accord, and the Tsx is a 4dr Rsx...

The TL Type-S has a 6spd. We haven't had an recalls on ours. It' handles good for it's size. The Type S also holds more on the skid pad .93g compared the the TSX at .83g. I would assume even the regular TL would outhandle the TSX. The TSX has almost all the same options available that the TL does, but the fit and finish is not as good. We had one as a loaner once, and I'm glad we spent the extra $5K for the TL. I still like the TSX though. Get on acurazine.com, and you can see a lot of pics of members wheel choices to figure out what you want.

its good to see that you picked the tsx over the rsx man. who cares if its slower than an rsx-s...it still looks better. get some wheels and the a spec kit for it and you'll be set.

gotta say you got taste. Some people just don't like it for ....?? I don't know. I think it is a great car. Good looking, decent power, good handling FWD, plenty of rooms and 6 speed. Good choice.

TSX was my first choice, but ended up getting the SI sedan. Sometimes I wish I had a TSX though. Great find.

Keep the hatch! You have too much work in it to let it go to someone else, and for that price!
