Took a drive up to Helen *pics*
So I took a drive up to Helen this morning. I havent been up there in a while and I needed to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather!!! SO I left around 9am this morning after going to bed at 5am..lol figured I would use this opportunity to take a few pics of the accord. The sun was very harsh and most of the pics didnt turn out as I would have liked. ANYWAYS here are some of the pic I got todayenjoy!

A year later and I went back up to Helen
When I went to the mountains last week gas was still hard to find and i was able to get some. after getting gas Christine and I went to the Unico park and hiked to the falls. After eating our boiled peanuts we headed back down the mountain and took a drive up the scenic highway. As soon as We got on there we hit bicyclers!!!! It sucked as I wasn't able to drive my car like I wanted to, my tranny temp went to 260 due to having to play with the gas SO much while passing the bikers (highest I have ever seen it) and I didn't think to get any pics of the SEA of bikers who were riding!
UPON us getting to the lookout that we always goto we over hear that there are aver 5,000 riders that are either doing 100 or 50 miles through the mountains! (thats insane!) Once I got some pics and we relaxed out side of the car we headed back down the mountain but still had to worry about running the bike riders over and oncoming traffic. People were driving on the wrong side of the road on BLIND turns....i didn't even do that!

I have a funny story about helen. My gf took me their once, and i wanted to kill her for wasting my time. Me being from Europe, i saw forests, lakes, water falls every day. So when i went to helen i didnt get amused about all the trees,forests, rivers red necks horses and so on.

^^ yea true abut the fresh air. I loved living in Europe for one fact, and thats fresh air mmmm mmmm mmmmm.
hmm... so the leaves start changing at the beginning of November.
^^^well this time last year (nov) they were in full "bloom" but when we went up last weekend there were only a handful of trees that has started to change...so its sometime between now and Nov that they start...
--maybe give it 2 weeks.
