    Default A Mustang I would not mind owning...

    This is my fiancee's uncle's 89 Mustang 5.0 race car. All Motor 8 seconds flat. This thing is a beast and I will miss it when it is gone because it is for sale. $60,000 for car put back together with everything in it, and an extra $15k for the extra motor and extra parts which would make the total then $75k for those that aren't so good at math.

    BTW NO NITROUS EITHER

    yea I love it...it used to have a full interior. Commerce wont let him run without full rollcage, flame-resistant suit, helmet, 5+ point harness, parachute, and wheelie bars...lol I thought that was funny seeing as how he didn't make a full out run and still rolled in at 8 sec.

    He couldn't floor it off the line because he didn't have his wheelie bars that night from the first pictures. I used to have a picture of him doing a wheelie. its an amazing car and well worth the $$$ he is asking in my opinion.

    Could quite possibly be...I am not sure. I just know Brad Brand is a good friend of my fiancee's uncle and they race eachother when they get the chance.

    Brad's mustang is amazing...I have never seen him do a full run...saw something bad ass which was him going full throttle into second gear...shutting down in second and rolling through at 65 MPH and still getting a 7.6 qt. mile. It was amazing. lol

    But it could have quite possibly been the car. My fiancee's uncle is buying up a lot of stuff to put it back together. Just to sell. I know the car is sponsored cuz this isnt his first engine in that car. I think it might be the 4th. But the extra engine is the same as the one in the car.

    I dont know them personally...I do believe that my fiancee's uncle does though because this isnt the first engine in this car. It's been drag racing for quite some time now. It used to have a ghost cobra painted on the hood...dunno what happened to that. Its by far one of my favorite cars. I wish I took him up on the offer when he had two seats...lol but commerce wouldn't let me ride with him. sucks

    Ya I think I saw that car at ACD,because im down there quit a bit. I saw brad run his mustang and it stood straight up when he launched that it broke the back bumper.

    bad ass cars and cheap to make fast...but when you get into what brad did and what my fiancee's uncle did...not so cheap but very very fast lol
