put your EG on the scales, if its SUB 2100lbs ill be impressed. theres no way it will be SUB 2000lbs. thats almost impossible in an EG chassis. the curb weights they list are biased.

Curb weight on a 1992 Civic CX/VX is 2094lbs and in 1994 they were 2107lbs. Carbon fiber hood, trunk, and lightweight battery may shave 50-60lbs if your lucky, which still wont make it sub 2000lbs.

Plus casey is 5'5'' an weighs 100lbs. your slightly bigger than he is LOL. you weigh prob as much as me, maybe a little more.

Caseys is a 1988 CRX SI which weighed 2017lbs. its sub 1900 now i guarantee it with the traction bars, lexan glass, sunroof blockoff plate. the rear glass and the crossmember alone shaves 117.23 lbs.

I will have to say my vote is for Halfwit (insider tip remember I build both his and Kevin's motor and both were tuned here) I have driven both and I think Halfwits is a little quicker on the low end because of weight, traction, etc. He is the way I see it.

Dig to 80mph - Halfwit by 2 cars

20 to 100mph - Halfwit by 1.5 cars

40 to 100mph - Pretty even

60 to 120 - Kevin by 1 car

Greg I am interested to see what your will make. But you all need to remember that I am building the HIGHEST WHP D-series in the state for my personal car. By the way does anyone know what that is so I can beat it.

right now i think 460 is the highest CONFIRMED WHP from someone reputable IE full race.

Locally, i have not seen over 300whp, Halfwit MAY hold the title.

I have heard of people making 500whp on a D series but i havent SEEN IT nor have i seen a realistic dyno of it

Mike my cousin was there with me at Silver Dollar when I weighed my car and it was 2020lbs!!! Unless their scale is messed up my car weighs 2020lbs WITHOUT the C.F parts etc, Remember mike what cassey does to his crx I can do to my EG i.e lexan glass etc,etc. In the end he may be a little lighter than me(MAYBE I STILL HAVE TO SEE IT FOR MYSELF) but will see....MIKE HENCE MY SIGNATURE... LEARN IT, LIVE IT.....BELIEVE IT!

I don't know if I believe that Mike, I've taken my crossmember out plenty of times & it weighs no more than 30lbs MAX, the rear glass I don't know but it can't weigh 100 lbs for sure.

My car is heavier than most cars, I haven't taken anything out of the car but added even more (17s, sub + 2 amps, spare + jack, jumper cables) & it still weighed in at 2100 at SDR scales

Same scale that told me our S2000 weighed 3300lbs.

Like i said, right now Casey has a 300whp D series, with a head package on the way.

I wouldnt be claiming anything until the car rolls off the dyno and you have a sheet in your hand.

your going a little more extreme than caseys build, but as i have said 1000000 times to you an everyone else, TURBO D SERIES are uncharted territory. guys posting up big numbers that dont make any sense.

i dont think your setup will make 400whp, no matter how much boost you push through it, not at this point in time. if caseys head package adds 60whp, then ill change my mind.

30psi on a t3/t4 is going to be WAY out of its efficiency range. the turbo can make the power, but im not sure if the motor can hold together. 30psi and a D series just makes my stomach churn. Regardless if you can crack 350whp, it will be a good race, but i will still have to side with halfwit, im partial to little CRXs

but the stock cross member is 43.9 lbs
