There is a a lot of tape, so no way to know exactly what they did. I would check that ground, the ground wire from the line out convertor is connected to it, but it also runs into the stock loom. So I would start with grounding that since looks to be stock ground wires that are no longer grounded.
Is the ground wire that little silver circle thing at the top of my trunk? Where should that be?
