    If you dont have an inline fuse on your power wire, get one. like a 60 amp as close to your battery as possible.

    and make sure your power and ground are the same gauge wire. if your gorund is smaller, it'll let too much power in and bye bye fuses.

    and no, dont step up the amperage in the amp, keep what it calls for, unless you want your amp to blow sooner.

    didnt know about this....so what if your ground is bigger than your power ?
