untill your voltage drops below 11. which, judging by all the stuff you have, will not be too long. all depends on your charging system. If your still running on a stock battery, i'll give you 10-15 minutes if that

a cap is there to help with deep surges the amp puts on the battery. a cap is not a battery source. if you have a batcap then you could use that way, but it doesnt have a way of recharging itself. if anything just hook up a voltage meter to your battery and keep an eye on it.when it gets around 11 start up the car with stereo up and recharge battery, but it not good to keep running it down and back up to many times.

jimmy..doing any shows anytime soon?sorry for the highjack

With the engine off, your system runs off the battery, and the battery alone. If you want to be able to play your system for a long time with the engine off, you only hope is to add more batteries or get a power supply, and plug it into the a wall outlet. Wall outlets are not always around when you want to "hang out" though....

Now, if you add 3-4 batteries, you still have to (highly suggested) seperate them from your main car battery. This way, if you drain the 3-4 stereo batteries, you can still start the car to go home because you have (seperated) isolated then from the car battery. Also, you will now be asking your alternator to charge 1 fresh batery, and 3-4 dead batteries. This will create a strain on the alternator, so be careful there too. You also might want to look into upgrading the alternator at some point.

lots of electrical upgrades should be done with multi battery set-ups.

I have one from Cascade for my Eclipse, and one from Stinger for another car.

The Cascade was custom built for me, and was around $700. The Stinger is a little more "main stream", and will se you back about $350 or so.

Depending on what part of town you live, I might suggest some of the stereo shops. Most all of them can order it for you. I know Area41 (IA Sponsor) or Traffic Jams can bothe get one for you.
