    what area are you in?
    there are plenty of schools out there. most technical school have some sort of automotive division ranging from body work to regular maintanence to race cars.

    I think the man wants to get a job not go to school to learn and get certified through it, in other words he has hands on experience. Just keep trying dude, like start off at oil change places like jiffy lube, they always hiring.

    well he did ask about schools in the first post
    jiffy lube is always hiring, but that job is just changing oil and filters, not really anything special, been there done that, and dont do it
    try dealerships, start off as the lube guy and work your way up. you;ll learn a great deal from just watching other mechanics and such

    well school wouldnt bother me none. id take the extra time out of my social life to learn. i mean, this is what i want to do. ive been applying at walmart for their Tire & Lube Express position but nothing. but yea, im definately gonna keep tryin
