It would help if we knew what you knew how to do. I know of a few dozen job openings but I would imagine you arent qualified for most of them.

Well I have Customer Satisfaction/ sales experience. I worked at Autozone for a yr. Dog Kennel experience and Construction Roofing and Demolition. But I'm a quick learner.

I think you need to consider school or the military to learn a marketable trade.

Hope, PEL and loans to get through school or try the military.

I am an ass, but in this case I am also right. Job market sucks hard right now unless you have some marketable skills. Jobs that were easy to find with an associates degree 5 years ago are being filled with people with bachelors and masters degrees right now.

Sound Sensations on Cobb Pkwy will be looking for some holiday season help. Gonna need MECP certification.

BanginJimmy, if you know of jobs and this guy is looking for a job, why don't help him out instead of antagonizing him. Some sort of help is better than none at all.

Right you are. Last year, when I was not working, I tried, just for the hail of it, to get a job at several grocery stores and fast food joints. Never got as much as a return call on anything it was so bad. And I'm a Dean's List graduate in computers. It's very horrible out there even for skilled folks. I'm just lucky I don't need the money that bad.

Good luck with you, bonez and furthering your education (if you're in a position to do so) would be a very good first action. Later, QD.

I asked for help, not criticism. What's good in a degree when there's no jobs to apply for? But if you asked me for my age you would of known that I'm not an old lazy bum. I'm 19, and I was about to go to college but all my classes were filled. I just need something mean time, and well paying because I am a Single Father. So help is all I ask for. Thanks guys =)

I never criticized you, but you want to attempt to cast insults my way? You think I'm an "old lazy bum?" Why? Because I took off from work for a few months? You don't know the circumstances of my vacation, so who are you to assume my character? You were about to go to college, but the classes were filled? Sounds to me like you waited til the last minute. Last minute = procrastination = lazy. Am I right? I don't know because I just made an assumption about you through a couple of posts you made.

I may not being helping in pointing you towards a specific job, but a little advice can't hurt. Later, QD.

Quickdodge I wasn't talking about you bro. I said nothing towards you. I said I'm not a old lazy bum just incase that's what banginjimmy thought I was. I'm still young. 19, single father. Nothing against you quickdodge. I'm just trying to take care of my daughter and I. I did apply to college but classes were full. So I have to wait a year =/ meanwhile I just need a well paying job. That's it. Nothing against anyone. Sorry for the confusion

And no I didn't wait until the last minute. Chattahoochee is a pretty small school with A LOT of people attending. Took 3 weeks just to get an appointment. So I did try.

Ahhhh, I gotcha, dude. Well all I have to offer is a good luck to you, man. It is tough, man. I would encourage you to get a CDL, but with you being the single Father, that wouldn't bode well at all. Later, QD.
