Good place to start would be a school.

    Son of a bitch..

I guess I'm not being clear enough.

Let me be as clear as possible.. Would Chattahoochee Tech. be a good place for the education?

I've heard they have a great program.

Any school with a Auto tech dept is a good place to start. Even then you are a long ways from opening your own shop. You need LOTS of hands on experience, especially in the performance aspect. Plus lots of capital.

Well I mean I understand a lot of that, but I by no means want to run my own shop. I'd just rather do the team thing. So I think this really has my question answered. Thanks.

Well once you get a certification, experince, a group of people wanting to work with you I would assume the bank would be your next stop after you've come up with your plan for as far as a shop. Good luck to you.
