Half of this is not true. Education is one of the most competitive fields out there right now. A few years ago teachers were in such high demand, EVERYONE knew that there was a shortage of teachers, so they went to school for this. Now that there are TONS of people graduating with degrees in Education, mixed with low low budgets, makes it hard. My girl graduated with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and had to settle for a Pre-K job this year. She applied to 13 different school systems and nothing. I told her its a blessing in disguise though, because come this time next year she will have her Masters from Brenau, and a year of teaching under her belt, so a job in a county school system should be easier to come by.

I am going to school for Sports Management/Marketing which I though would be great (and was before the economy went down), but now with things the way they are I am thinking of going to IT. I took a Cisco class in high school, and although it was very hard, it was also very interesting.
