heh, you can always be profitable. when the dollar fell from 1.55 - 1.20 a year ago, everyone in wallstreet was losing money hand over fist and theres nothing thye could od about it....... using shorts, I'm sure this made many forex traders very very wealthy.

today wasn't really a great day to trade... very dull day with limited information coming out (compared to the other days of the week). so its been stagnant all day.

GBP/USD is going to be hot. Already on a strong bull from yesterdays BOE announcement of $25 billion and we are getting ready to see PMI input numbers at 4:30am. Provided they remain on forecast we could see it break the resistance of 1.6635 and look upwards to the next resistance of 1.6695. Been making money on the Eur/usd all day..... minimal news days means one of two things... corrections or stagnating.... exactly what has happened with euro. sitting int eh 70's and 80's all day makes it more than easy enough to recognize the hourly and 15 minute r1 and s1's... thus 5-8 pips per trade per 1-5 minutes adds up fast.

Using Forex I am liking the technical analysis, initially the system I am using relies heavily on my entry point to determine profit. Smooth Moving Average is weighted more than the Exponential Moving Average but I do use both. I am not looking for quick in and quick out, I started a position on Friday (bad move, will stick to monday-thursday) and had I wanted to get out quickly I would have taken a loss, but with a little patience I hit my limit order last night for a decent gain.

Bollinger Bands I am using to determine the direction of which things are going, with patience it is a nice tool to use where things are going in the short term. And finally stochastic momentum index to determine where the market is at the moment. These three things I am using currently at my infantile stage to learn and go forward. I wanted to start with a basis then move into a more in depth analysis. I plan to stay away from markets that are expecting big news, and limit orders are placed at a certain gain so I do not plan on hitting it big on one position.. this is an ongoing process. Simple and gradual.

started with a short on friday? or a long? if a short, then unless you see a clean break south of 1.4950 in the next us session, it would be unlikely that it will return to those supports anytime soon. worth the patience though. just fyi, analysts long run expectation for the eur/usd is heavy eur appreciation, so generally speaking right now, its more safe to sit on a long than it is a short.

Short, gained about 250pips since then, beginners luck though because I'm behind the 8 ball today, about -13 unrealized at this moment. Havent really touched eur/usd, i've stuck with usd/cad and usd/jpy.

A long position on eur/usd might just be what I'm looking for though.

yeah due to the mass of people flooding from risk to us bonds, th dollar heavily appreciated over the past year and as the risk appetite is coming back (with healthier markets) the dollar has been on a downward trend since last march (I think it bottomed out the eur/usd around 1.20xx and is currently around the 1.50xx level (3000 pips if you picked up a long last spring lol).

Loaded up some more IJJP, have been in touch with the CEO and IR and this company has a lot more news to come!

Also added BMNM today. They had a conference call yesterday where they announced 2 dividends over the next 2 months. The first one will be on Nov. 20 and will apply to shareholders of record on the 16th...it is a 5c per share dividend (payable in cash, stock, or both) and then second dividend is the 2nd week of january for 65c a share (this think is trading around .50 pps right now)
I jumped in at .48 because this is their first dividend in over 2 years, and just holding on until january I will be guaranteed to make money.

HDVY oscillates daily without any news at all. I set a limit order every morning at what I think is a resistance level, sometimes it fills sometimes it doesnt. Easy 5-10% returns daily.

Risky but if it does go the wrong way I am ok with it because I am bullish in the long term and I did my hw. So worst case scenario I just have to hold on for a while, which is ok because I don't invest more than 20% of my account on any particular stock.

CXM is creeping back up after turning a profit this past quarter, accumulated more shares in the low .70 range.

HESG I am just hoping for a good breakout, there is so much buying going on that it is ridiculous and MM's are trying to hold it down.

HESG moving right along, .0006 will put my initial investment @ 200% and the bulk of my investment @ 100% profit.. but i am holding. This one has potential to go close to a penny.

Don't want to seem like I'm pumping this up, just a fyi.. PR expected from HESG today, with the momentum it could make for another 25% day.

I believe Zach was in AMNE but got out due to manipulation, I was concerned about dilution with the forward split.

Profits from HESG will go to CXM and CBAI. I still hold true that CXM is a $10 stock but it will require patience, my targer is still 10k shares but as the price continues to drop I will continue to accumulate.

CBAI is a long position for me, i believe they are headed in the right direction and I'm willing to take the ride and be patient. The thing I like about LT plays is when its time to cash in they're taxed at 15% instead of 40%

Yeah it opened @ .001, dropped to .0008 (bought some shares here) then when the PR hit the price blew through resistance. I don't think .0007 popped up.

Here is what I've noticed different with HESG, when the chart makes a quick drop there are VERY few shares traded at that level then it recovers. When I bought @ .0003 the .0002's were showing up but it would never execute, this was a no bid stock and now to get your order filled you basically have to slap the ask. The float seems very high but this did 1 billion in volume yesterday and its over a billion today already at 12pm, there are 600mil shares outstanding.. its a lot thinner than it looks and if investors continue to accumulate and hold it will pop for sure.

made a quick 100% in HESG over the past few days, now trading pwrm for a biomed report that is due to be released tonight.

Averaged down on IJJP after talking with the CEO. Contracts are forthcoming with Lucent and the Govt.

Sold HESG and bought into PWRM today around .09...a very good system myself and a group of investors have been using show that this will be a good play tomorrow, but obviously this company has big potential in the long run as well.

Also, at these levels, PDMI is a must own right now and the same software/screening plus a few very informed investors have pdmi moving towards .01 very very soon and easily hitting .04

    Right now my plays are:

    IJJP
    PWRM
    PDMI
    HDVY

I have taken a big loss on IJJP, but it will pay off very shortly, and just daytrading my other picks and the ones we find with our screening process has helped me pull in about $600 in the past week just playing with spare cash.
If you have any good DD on a penny play let me know, there are about 30 of us that are dividing and conquering DD right now and we meet twice daily on a conference call and constantly in a private chat/message board. Without this group I don't know what I would be doing right now, but it is basically the cream of the crop from the yahoo finance message boards with people from all spectrums of life. We have people like me just trying to get started, all the way up to people that play 100-200k daily for fun.

I have learned a ton there and have been making very good money daily, so I will begin to bring more and more of these picks to this board to spread the wealth around lol

Thanks for the constant updates, I was in IJJP when it was about .015, got out when it started dropping but it looks like it is due for a substantial run.

Look into KATX, and look at the chart before they got delisted. This is a speculative gold play but info coming in shows that they are coming back.

Assay results from the Handcamp property have given a wide range of gold values such as 53.3 g/t Au with over 2oz silver/ton. A number of grab samples assayed 20 g/t,94 g/t, with one grab reportly as high as 158.9 g/t. Both lead and zinc of up to 2% are also from these same samples. A previous drill hole encountered .39oz of gold over 7 feet, with visible gold been panned from a recently trenched outcrop. Kat Exploration owns 60 claim block surrounding the main Handcamp gold showing
Some of you commodities folks may understand that a lot better than I can. This was averaging $2 a share before up to $10 plus.. if you have $500 just laying around instead of blowing it on strippers why not buy a possible lotto ticket? 50k shares and holding, I'll probably up that to 100k before the end of the year.

A ridiculous morning for a ridiculous week.

HESG at .0017 now.. closed at .0012

    KATX @ .0219, closed at .017

IHGP up to .0002 and moving quickly.

I'll pull initial investments when these things double and move on to the next investment.

KATX had a massive run yesterday, made me really hesitant to get in today. The risk/reward was just too high.

Anything on the horizon that hasn't popped ridiculously yet?

Its hard to tell and usually I'm weary of following pops but KATX moved off of information that hasn't been released publicly as of yet which is why I'm willing to roll the dice. Its back above the .02 range.

Other break outs, BUNM may run but I'd sell @ .0006. HESG just dipped some, good accumulation point. If I find something else I'll post it up.

So I bought 12 million shares of IHGP @ .0002 and it is blowing through the .0003's now. Word is that news is on the way about a structured deal. Accumulation isn't going as fast as HESG did but it is steady.

    Today was fucking RIDICULOUS.

    IHGP closed @ .0004, 300%

    KATX closed .02 16%

    HESG .0022 83.3%
