Just like i refuse to listen to Bill Oreilly, i refuse to listen to Dan Abrams.
Both of them like to just twist information.
To add, Obama's proposals don't work for me, i refuse to pay anymore taxes and could careless about those that can't afford healthcare. My family has been through bad and we got through it.
After watching.......
Dan Abrams is proving that a compent made by someone can be twisted to purposefully use it against them.
The problem with a Michele Obama's comments about "average people cant make it"
My Mother and I arrived in the U.S. in 1994 and after living in slum like apartments in Chamblee she worked her way by herself to afford a nice house in Gwinnett and raise me the whole time. She never asked the govt to give her money, never had unemployment and worked for everything she has. We were below middle class when we got here and now are upper middle class. Anyone has the capability, my mother had to deal with having to learn fluent English and now we have every dollar she worked for taken away with more taxes. We have had no problems with the Bush admin and the only thing Obama represents to us is more and more taxes.
I feel that Michele Obama has a hard time taking about average people. Not many "average" people attend Princeton.

I couldn't agree with you more man, How can you connect with the "average" person if you went to Princeton, I have no problem with people who are highly educated and wealthy, i find them admirable if they worked for it. But to claim she is in touch with the average person is blasphemous at best.
McCain 08, the lesser of two evils, and i agree with you... Bush isn't nearly as bad of a president as everyone makes him out to be, i think people mainly put things on the president when they don't know why or how something bad happens to the country as a whole. If you know anything about politics or the economy there are a lot more facets to it.
You sir just got + reps for intelligent comment of the day

Again.. and this question hasn't been answered, is John McCain held to the same standard you hold Michelle Obama???
Yes, because we know more about McCain then we don't about her.Originally Posted by tony
Sooo, when ever she opens her mouth, even if she doesn't mean what she says, that's how it comes out and that's all we have to go by her opinion.
Why do you think that McCain and Obama have people help them put together speeches. Obama's wife just needs to shut her mouth if he wants this issue not becoming like the Reverend Wright.
One other thing about the vid, notice how they cut McCain off right when he says the last word. Before he has his explanation.

What he is saying is that you don't appreciate something until it is taken away from you, thats a pretty common theme we all can relate to that can be taken from freedom american's experience here or even to the fact that your parents hold a roof over your head as a child.
If anything i'd say this is a nice sense of national pride that i feel like a lot of people these day's lack.

Nobody said it was negative.. strange that you would think that since I never implied it. All I asked was, is he held to the same standard Mrs. Obama is and it seems to be a pretty difficult question because out of all these responses I've only seen one yes or no and I'm still waiting for clarification on that one since it was a contradiction.Originally Posted by Lucky Dawg

Loving something and liking it are two different things.
You can love America and still have a problem with it and want to fix some things but you stay by its side for all of its flaws. Its just like a spouse or a family, you love them so you stand by them even through all its flaws.
What the two candidates said is very different and i don't know how you don't see that.
And i love how the guy pulls "what you are saying is slanderous and i hate to say it, but racist".
How the hell is quoting Michelle Obama racist... I'm sorry but things like this fuel my dislike of the Democrats. Race has nothing to do with it and i can not stand when someone tries to pull that card to guilt someone or earn pity.
Its a matter of policy and personal integrity which is in this case lacking.

Well I kno an average person who is at Princeton. He just so happens to be smart.
CHASE ->>> WHAT MATTERS
Herman Cain annoys me, I can deal with Hannity, Boortz.. but Cain doesn't interest me.
His tone might not be radio friendly but i feel the content is good.Originally Posted by tony
he didnt say he wasnt proud of the country until then, he was merely making a statement that he did fully appreciate the type of society that he lived in until it was taken away from him. so no they arent on the same playing field.

also i think there Obama is taken into question so much because we know a lot about McCain, he has been around the block and in the spotlight for years. Obama is getting scrutinized simply because he hasn't before, he got into washington and started campaigning for president from day one.
McCain has been under the gun for years, any kind of dirt you bring up on him is old news.
People don't know anything about Obama for the most part, so they naturally are going to be putting a spotlight on him, especially now. I would rather know every aspect about him before you blindly put him in the office only seeing his good sides.
Ofcourse McCain has flaws, he was apart of a committee in the early 1990's that was a big part of the blame of the recession then. This has been pointed out plenty of times and any educated person has already researched or heard of his downsides over the years.
So ofcourse Obama is going to be looked at more closely, its just common sense.

dont really care about michelle obama's level of patriotism or lack there of according to some. to me having her in the white house is worse than supposedly "having to clinton's in the white house"Originally Posted by tony

Any way you want to twist this it will be contradictory, because everything you know about this topic has gotten to you through some kind of news outlet. I mean unless you know the candidates personally, which i highly doubt![]()

No being a American gives you a pass to say whatever you want. Then you have to face the press on how they will interpit (sp) it. Mcain has more ground to stand on with a comment like that than Michelle. He has been in other countries, seen whats its like from a prisoners stand point (for 6 years). Michelle grew up in Chicago. She went to average schools and lived in the average house. She later went on to Princeton and Harvard Law. If she grew up in any other country, I doubt she would have had the opportunity to do what she has done here. She is a very smart woman but how can you say something like that about a country that has given her so much?
