dont think so, john mccain is going to give hilary a run for her money. actually he's going to win. edwards is dropping out around one o'clock today.
so ya'll really think clinton will even beat obama in the the primaries? when he won south carolina very convincingly and he won Iowa. Hillary won the popular vote in nevada but obama got more delegates out of the state. Yea hillary won florida but right now they don't mean **** because they got stripped of their delegates. McCain still has to fight off romney even tho he is kicking his ass right now Romney still has alot more money to spend for super tuesday than McCain. My Prediction will be McCain vs. Obama ..... still no matter who McCain faces he has no chance of winning especially when the die hard christian republicans don't even like him but he is the best out of the weak field the republican produced in these primaries.

good point but do you actually believe that the die hard republicans would vote for clinton let alone obama? obama never had the chance because he doesnt have the experience, and they knew that from the beggining. clinton has a stronger chance than obama but her husband is taking her down big time. The BIG question in october and november will be: Who do you trust enough to keep America safe?Originally Posted by BB6dohcvtec

Why do you keep on saying every? That’s implying that there are more than one. Bush did not start the Iraq war, the terrorist did. What would you expect us to do? Sit here and do nothing about it? Just let the terrorist attack us, killing thousands of innocent lives? If so move to France. Also, the safety of this nation from terrorist is a stupid reason for going to war? Think not. Do you actually think Bin Laden thought that he would ever be in some dirt hole up in the mountains running from our great soldiers? Coconut was right; dems are full of conspiracies that they cant even back up. So why mention them? You also spelled burrito wrong.Originally Posted by blacknightteg
And my answer would be obama. But back to point why are we in iraq we were lied too from the beginning about the weapons. I'm not sweating that tho because we did a good thing about getting saddam out, but we could have done that years ago in the gulf war when we were on the hunt for his ass and we were at the door when the first bush pulled out. so after we got him the second time there was no need for us to stay there. Why would i want another president supporting a war we do not need to be in anymore in iraq....other parts of the middle east is where we need to focus not iraq.Originally Posted by Dr.G35

Because it is now our responsibility. I want to stay there because if we pull back now Iraq will go right back into the same position they were in before and all that we have worked for will have been for nothing.Originally Posted by BB6dohcvtec
see thats where i think that your wrong, iraq is not a responsibility. Our responsibility is to eliminate the threat to our country and get the **** out. we took out saddam and so now its up to that ****ty country to get their **** together. its not our job to help them. we have our own country and our own problems to worry about.Originally Posted by Dr.G35

but see i agree with you, but with a kind of twist. if we pull out now with the kind of **** that still is going on down there, then our country once again wll not be safe. Iraq IS our problem now. I believe we have to at least get them rollin before check out. even if we have to force feed democracy down their throats, we all will be better off then.
Every president has been: White, male, and straight(?). Since the frontrunners in the democratic party comply with only 2 out the 3 prerequisites, it seems as if our next president will come from the republican party, probably McCain.

Obama is ahead by a nice margin, apparently some of you do not read polls.. He's caught up with Hillary in California, leading in Georgia and if Hillary has a lead in another state, it is not a commanding lead.
If Obama beats Hillary expect either her or Edwards to be his running mate and that is a ticket the republicans cannot beat. Obama is what this country needs now, make amends across the globe and deal with domestic issues without sticking our nose everywhere else. Oh yeah.. he preaches unity while typical politicians want to remain partisan. I really dont understand republicans who praise Reagan for what he did but criticize Obama for having the same sentiment.
Oh yeah.. source on the polls:

I agree totally. But realistically, the "powers that be" will not allow that to happen (yet). I've voted already and I really do want to see a change. But the machine that is the "status quo" is incredibly powerful and has been in place since the genesis of our country. Once again I agree with you totally. Just callin' it like I see it.Originally Posted by tony

Dr. G, I respect your opinion completely but this is my problem with conservatives. I voted for Bush, considered myself pretty conservative but I get tired of policies being built off of fear of the unknown. ANYTHING can happen at any given time, domestic security should be a priority but going into another country and attempting to establish order in a culture that does not accept ours with open arms is a lost cause.Originally Posted by Dr.G35
How many resources have to be used and how many soldiers have to die before we realize we are hurting ourselves more than we are helping Iraq? Want to fight terrorism? Stop funding it, this means deal with energy independence, securing our boarders and build a stronger military here.. not in Iraq.

Hillary doesn't represent change, actually if you look at the McCain and Hillary's policy side by side they are not too far off.Originally Posted by WHAT_LAG

I hate the fact that we are still over there. I honestly feel we need to cut our losses and make the real people responsible for the war which is now suppose to be a peace keeping and rebuilding mission. I 've been to Iraq (twice) and the only difference between the deployments are the attitudes of the iraqi's and the rules of engagement. Granted, I'm not a general or someone in the "know", but what I do know is that we continue lose our own over there, and for what? Make me see the benefits of a US presence over there. Because I really don't see one.Originally Posted by Dr.G35

Mitt Romney actually mandated health coverage in MA, they are now imposing fines (FINES) on people who do not have health coverage. So lets get this straight, penalize those who cannot afford health coverage by fining them?
Social security is supposed to provide for our wellbeing after retirement, that is garnished from our wages as well.. and we see how that is going. Taxes are garnished from our wages and we have the biggest deficit in history, so now you want to garnish health coverage from our checks as well? All while never seeing the benefit of it since those who don't work and illegal immigrants will cripple the system? I anxiously await a response.
