    3 inch piping seems excessive. he should stick with the current exhaist and get a straight piped resonator. It would only be $40. All this other stuff is just a swaste of money and cost-benefit wise is not worth it.

    Turbocharged cars are generally quieter, I dont know how much boost u run or how large your turbo is but if u plan on having a bigger turbo (or maybe you already do.) Id go 3 inch, for the exhaust note id use a catless down pipe, and keep the muffler. but theres a bunch of options hell my car is just 3" pipe no muffler or cat.
