    i turboed my car and my car is quiet, how do i get my exhaust sound back. i have a 2.5 custom cat back with a hks hyper weld on.

    I thought quiet was good as long as its fast.

    i like a little of both, and i have a rfl bov so thats not a problem lol.

    don't worry about it..but if you want sound back take out the resignator...

    i dont want it to loud, i want kinda a deep sound. so if i take that off will it be really loud or a deep sound.

    Agreed. It won't be too loud it will be deep. I took my muffler out and got a straight pipe, I love it.

    3" with a short resonator should give you the sound you're looking for.

    who would you recommend to do a 3"?, and would it be just from the cat back or do i need a 3" down pipe to?

    3 inch piping seems excessive. he should stick with the current exhaist and get a straight piped resonator. It would only be $40. All this other stuff is just a swaste of money and cost-benefit wise is not worth it.

    Turbocharged cars are generally quieter, I dont know how much boost u run or how large your turbo is but if u plan on having a bigger turbo (or maybe you already do.) Id go 3 inch, for the exhaust note id use a catless down pipe, and keep the muffler. but theres a bunch of options hell my car is just 3" pipe no muffler or cat.
