ok, the HKS doesn't leak at idle. but my s/c is always trying to make boost. My BOV right now is like w throttle body. it has a butterfly and it stays all the way open if there is all vaccuum. so...my ? is, if I went with a HKS or turbo BOV, would my car be in boost all the time or how would i be able to regulate the air flow?
Im not understanding what you are saying..

A SSQV works based on the pressure differental between the top and bottom of the valve.. it wont be open and leaking at idle and will be pressed shut even more once you start to drive, once you change gears the outside of the BOV gets vaccum and the inside still sees pressure causing it to open and vent.

Is yours "aftercooled" ?
