depends on budget..if you got a LS already just get a head. if not just go GSR and save the hassle.

What is the point of doing LSVTEC with a stock bottom end when:
It costs a shitload anyway. Vtec parts will run you around $1000 on the CHEAP
You cant rev stock LS rods reliably past 7800rpms, so you just negated putting a rev happy vtec head on.
GSR rods can handle 9000rpms all day

I've killed a couple Ls/vtec's and I have a stock gsr in my crx maybe they didn't build there's right but gsr FTW

I don't hate and as for slowpoke LoL I have a crx stock no chip yet and I have beat some Ls/Vtec's im not saying which one is better im just saying if you don't build it right then your shit would be slow or run fucked up I would go Ls/Vtec but I think the gsr can hang with what, pr3 pistons, skunk 2 springs and retainers, dc 4-1 headers, 2.25 inch exhaust, aebs intake manifold, bored 1mm over, skunk 2 pro 1 series cams, short ram intake,three angle valve job,polished head "no porting",Ferrea valves, chipped p28 and me driving what do you think!Originally Posted by o_bomb
