WELL SHIT, CATS OUTTA THE FUKKIN BAG NOW.

I SUSPECT LIKE MOST B-SERIES NUMBER THREE IS DONE. IM TELLING YAWL IT HIT 32PSI THAT RUN. THATS Y I ALWAYS BUMP THE FUEL WAY UP PAST WHERE IM TUNING TO JUST INCASE THE BOOST COMES IN HARD AND SPIKE I DNT GO LEAN. WELL TIMING COULDVE BEEN OFF TOO. HOPEFULLY THE SLEEVES AINT HURT.

BTEC,

come on man, it DID NOT SPIKE, the recall on the Profec never went over 27.6psi. An injector failed. if you think the "spike" caused the failure , then why did that injector on Number 3 not test out in working condition?

But it sucks its something as stupid as a used injector. I have seen motors that melted a piston and the sleeves were ok.

i think its a 50/50 chance it needs a piston

Well from are expirence the Sleeves are gone.Becasue when u detonate a motor the piston brecks up in pieces and scars the walls up.you might be able to save the block by going 85mm now.I keep telling you about using used parts!!

HOPEFULLY IT DIDNT COME APART, JUST COLLAPSED ALL THE RING LANDS OR SOMETHING. BLOCKS TOO EXPENSIVE TO NOT HAVE EVEN MADE IT TO THE TRACK YET.

Im pretty shocked as of this point. I've tried to just keep calm after spending 5 months and countless hours working on it and ressurecting the chassis from the dead. Something so STUPID as an injector being lazy is what really kills me. Ill gather myself this evening and start tearing away at it. I hope the head and sleeves are ok. Ive talked to a lot of people today. I really wanted to bring it to Silverdollar this weekend to give her a good test run. Import face-off isnt out of the question but i don't know if i can get it all together properly by then.

just pulled the head, this is def WAY worse than i though. Apparently he dropped a valve. No idea why or how, when the injector lost signal, it must have detonated an blown the piston or valve apart.
