it's my car (at least it looks like it, lol), a 4dr gsr, first turbo build...and it's crazy to drive. soon as you get on it, even a little bit, it starts to pull. then again i don't exactly have much experience driving turboed cars, lol. just a couple little issues to work out with my faulty map sensor and i'm good to go.
this is my daily driver, so i just wanted some extra power that i could use for every day driving on the streets and the highway. i had my eye on the smaller ball-bearing turbos since they spool so quickly...
i was really shooting for 300whp, and the motor had almost 200k miles on it, so i figured might as well build it before boosting it. and 300whp on a built motor should be plenty reliable. i fell kinda short though...you can see on the graph that the turbo starts to run out of breath as it gets close to redline. i think with a better manifold and maybe a disco potato or a gt2871...i should get there and still have close to the same response...what do yall think???
anyways props to the mainstream crew for doing a great job...that's the only shop that'll touch my car as long as i'm anywhere close to atl...
