I dont think we will have anything for your cars honestly honda wise. you guys have always made way more power than our street cars. The only car that could give anyone a run for their money would be Spoolin, an his wont be done by Tunerfest. Mine is a mild turbo build, ill be happy with 600 on race gas, but ill prob stop at 450. Daniels is open diff, an he has no seat time in his car, so i dont think he'll be competitive.Originally Posted by anothaRRR
Turbo Dave on the other hand, well lets just say Grey Green will be making about 250whp more than waht it had against clark at IS.
should be alot of fun none the less.

thats my point, our cars are street cars, except for spoolin. Not saying your cars arent, but they see the track much more than our customers i would say.
just being honest, your street cars make more power than our street cars. i think thats a true statement. wouldnt you agree?
i have never built my cars for 1/4 times, danny. I mean, i am interested to see what it runs, but im not held up on what the actual ET is going to be. if it runs 12s an makes 600, ill be happy lol. I have ALWAYS been a street racer. I dont build it to impress anyone.

I think the smallest Y2k offered by tubonetics is an T-80. The t-76 is still considered to be a Super T-series, but is still a big bbbbeeeeeaaatttttcccchhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. Looks good guys.Originally Posted by SPOOLIN

Yea thats where all of you are wrong,I build mine to have fun on and off the track!!you can see mine daily on 85 s and 85N. what fun is it too build a track purpouse car only?Originally Posted by Mr. Vteckidd

IF ITS REGISTERED WITH A TAG AND INSURANCE ITS CONSIDERED A STREET CAR RIGHT. THATS WHAT JEFF USED TO TELL ME AT FORD WHEN HIS MUSTANG USED TO LIFT THE WHEEL OFF THE GROUND ON COBB PARKWAY.
I agree w/ Mike on this one. It's all about what you like. I have tracked my Spec V prolly 10 times. That may sound like a lot, but that's a build I got done in 2003!! LOL. And it hasn't seen the track since I lived in CO, and PFI basically punked me into running it at Bandimere. LOL I'd rather run on the street. I'd rather let some1 talk shit than taking a track day just to prove a point. But on another note street-racing is dangerous and some people w/ FAST ass street cars simply will NOT go to the track. But some of the fastest cars I know in GA are not known on here NOR do they broadcast on forums. I guess to each his own. I respect whatever view other racers have on it.

haha brian. I was just saying that they share the same ASME housing. I love the Y2k housings. And not to talk shit, but ive heard "numbers" thrown out on this car and i dont see them being achievable with the turbo street trim fuel requirements.

????????? What does that have to do with it being posted as a turbo street car?????????I guess the question is why was it listed as a turbo street car and the turbo on the car will more than likely need to run in a proclass to run the fuel needed????Originally Posted by B18c1Turboed

But the last 2 races he running he can run meth or alchol, Showdown and Import show down as long as he run Showdown class he still good to go!!
well it sure isnt legal in any sportsman class within nhra and hotrod as well which is a (pro) class that he would race. ROFL so you are building a car to compete in the import showdown race, twice a year. and only that. lol. Its also not legal for ndra PRO 4 CYL, so i guess in ndra, you can run pro gt with the other 6 and 7 second cars.Originally Posted by B18c1Turboed

I know in NDRA turbo street there is no limit to turbo size for 4 cyl cars but the problem remains that the t-76 will probably work in a pro application with alch or meth but that size turbo in a turbo street class may hurt more than help due to the rules on the fuels you are able to run. Just my opinion though, so good luck with the setup.Originally Posted by B18c1Turboed

Nitrous to help spool...There really arent any NHRA close enough to go run, at least not worth it, NHRA seems too strict on their rules and shit...

Turbostreet because he will make a ndra event or two... and run alot of the local events....
Pro will be done later on to spec... come on guys.... who cares if its a street/pro/or daily beater....this car will be running good et's and making good power. Right now it will be competiting in whatever sanctioning body he can.
