NEED TO TUNE

sup yall, i got a 97 GSR basic bolt-on, now i need to dyno tune the beast but i have 1 problem... wut should i use Hondata S200, Apex'i VAFC-II, AEM, or
this "Chome" thing i just heard about... so wut yall think i should use?

bring it up to mainstream and i'll tune it for you. i've successfully tuned 100's of honda's/acura's w/ both uberdata and crome. i personally like to use crome pro now because of extra features it has especially on boosted cars (there are some features hondata s200 doesn't have). you'll also save by not having to purchase hondata and the ecu will work on both. if you feel you must get hondata get s300...it comes with all the features for one price and you don't have to pay for each feature you want like on s200 and it can be tuned anywhere.

if you feel you need to see hp #'s/reliability from these products then here goes:

I'ma Hondata guy (got both the s200 and s300) but RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH and make your own decision. ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS!!! Especially if you want to run multiple maps (ie daily map and track map).

If your car is OBD1 already an has a chippable ECU, its $80, if you need an ECU an a conversion harness its $280. We have all the capabilities Hondata has

If you are on a budget then go for Uber. If you do your research though they are VERY much alike b/c 1 is damn near a ripoff of the other. Uber can get you into boost cheaper, but I feel that the extra money for Hondata is worth it. Every1 here has their own heros and you gotta respect that. It's all about what you want... you will most likely not outgrow either option NEtime soon. Good luck.

I'm an extremely happy customer of Scotty and Mainstream and their ability to tune Uberdata and Crome. My na B16 made 175whp at 9300 rpm with their tuning. I drove daily for 35-40k miles before being bitten by an oil pump failure. If I had done an oil pump I'd still be running the motor right now. Scotty will be tuning the new motor hopefully in a month or less.

thanks for the props guys. those numbers were also with a recorded 106 degree temperatures at the dyno. stock engine, short ram, skunk intake manny, 4-1 exahust manifold w/ 2 large dents, stock cat, and greddy evo exhaust.
