JDM is not "always" the better choice. Sorry. At the end of the day, it's all relative to what YOU like. When you are RJ Devera and start building cars for other companies or other people, THEN worry about what they think. Until then, you build your car the way that you want to.Originally Posted by krucial7integra
Show may be a waste to YOU, but it is not a waste to the people that are into show. You are looking at things from YOUR point of view, which is what most people do. I'm all about letting people do what they want, as long as it doesn't negatively affect my projects. In Japan they are all rockin' DC Sports, Skunk2 and Edlebrock sh*t on their imports. A Trust turbo over there is the anomally, not the norm. When I was stationed in OKinawa that blew my mind. Do what YOU like, and do what makes YOU happy with your ride.Originally Posted by Hulud
No1 is trying to "pretend" that they have a Type R. Those kids are basically proud of the dedication and TIME it takes to get even 1 JDM part... MONTHS sometimes to get even a set of taillights. Do not knock it just b/c it's important to them and not to you. Just do what feels good to you, and appreciate the "effort" that people put into their rides, not the choices that they make. I see blown Mustangs crusin down 400 and I HATE domestics... but I can still pull over beside the road and admire the effort that he put into his ride. it'd never be my choice, but you can't knock the love that they have for their ride.
