    Default H22 or h23 crank which is stronger ?

    im looking into building and im not sure if i should get the h22 crank or not

    Correct me if i'm wrongbut using a H22 would be de-stroking you engine slightly. Right now you actually have more tq(3 ft0lbs) that a H22 and with boost you would have more tq with the larger displacement. I'm would stay with H23

    as far as STRENGTH of the crank, i would say they are equal. i have never seen a OEM honda crank BREAK or CRACK. OEM cranks make 800+WHP without fail. its the rods that usually fail in the H23 motor.

    If you are looking to build , i would not try to mix and match cranks. use the crank your block was designed to use. IMO

    spin both to 9500+rpm only if you do it right. bearing failure are the most common with h23vtec hybrids.

    yeah i was gonna say, rod and beargin failure is prob the weak length in the H23 rods, just like the LS rods

    ACL makes race bearings I think...
