while trying to sell the Ek.. i found a good deal on a salvage EG, bought it.. $300.. rebuilt it, LS swap.. Spent about 1700 bucks to rebuild.. EG's had so much demand, I sold for $5100.. talk about a nice profit.. Both civics sold in the same week.
I do miss the red EK.. however times have changed.. back then we had idiots, but today I see worst idiots out there. Not worth me going out.. I may go out here and there and check some cars out... incognito though..
We were all big time ricers.. I rather stack my $$$ and spend on other things..I have a few more payments to finish paying off my Vette, once that's payed.. and if everything works out, going back to the dealer and picking up a S2000 or a C6-Z06. Im leaning more towards the s2k.. not sure if I want to have 2 vettes.. but I don't know.. what I do know is, I doubt I will modding anything any time soon..

I mean, my Miata isn't the greatest. But I don't owe a penny to anyone for anything except monthly bills. Freedom is indeed a wonderful thing. Sure there are days when I think to myself "myself, a super/turbo charger would be the bee's knees". But then I think about all the pain in the ass it is to upkeep and why would I want to make my car unreliable blah,blah,blah.
Most Miata owners hate me because of the teeth, and glow in the dark wheels. Because Miatas R serious bidness don't you know. I just want the scene to be like it was, everybody helping everybody. Seems to me that vibe is only with the old-schoolers now. But I digest...
