    b20b/type r head/b16 trans obx lsd- skunk2 pro3cams degreed,70mmtb, s2 pro intake port matched, supertech head,stock port,itr rep pistons,flat valves,bearings,itr oil pump,shot peen rods,rod bolts,head studs, gaskets and tuned on chrome 217whp,148trq....parts alone nearly 5k... not including labor or trans...

    His problem there appears to be lack of compression. Why would you go through all that effort and not bump the compression?

    That's not his only problem.....makes no sense why you would buy pro3 cams with the stock port head.

    This. This was the 1st thing I said - no midrange, and really not enough head to benefit from the rediculous cams.

    a mildly built LS w/ a 75 shot would've killed you...... and you would've spent thousands more (according to your $5,000 price)..... thats why I say too much $ and not enough power. not trying to be an ass, just saying.

    Ehh $5000 is about right. That's not a cheap motor to build. Stock
    Port prob hurts. What header?
