Default Any interest in a large Road Trip to Import Reactor in Texas in march..

Im trying to see if there would be any interest worthy of Southrnfresh actually putting the time to organize something like this for us in the south east to take a road trip as a group to Texas for Import Reactor in March 2011. Groups from virginia, tennessee, carolinas, florida, alabama, miss, and La , all adding to the group on the way.

Just a quick thought of the route would be,

-VA group come down catch the NC and SC group
-Tenn group come down to ATL, along with the carolina/va group
-Arkansas/miss/ Florida group come to New Orleans, and meet with the GA/carolina/tenn/va group
-And we all make the final drive to Houston

Thats just a quick look at the map and estimate of the trip, The planning would be time and deciding if we may have to allow some of the people driving from VA and Carolinas, or Florida group be able to catch some sleep since they have the longest trip to make. But that can be added to planning. And also

The meet was held in the Woodlands last year, and from what im reading it will be held in Houston near Reliant Stadium, or near the Convention Center.. still trying to pin point the exact location. But i know its in Houston for sure.

The event is more than a car show its held with Anime Matsuri, which is a huge pop culture convention. So there will be plenty of extra things to do than just stand around with hands in your pocket.

With things like this the show is the show itself is not the best part of the event, its the meeting people and being amongst cool car folks and having a good safe time.

MArch 18th and 19th so hotel reservations would need to be made for those days atleast. We will have to get with some of the houston residents to find reasonable and good hotels in the area for us to base our reservations off of. But this is just a interest post.

    Speedhunters
    Mayday Garage
all sponsor and support the event so we know it will be worthy of something!

Id like to hear if anyone would be interested in making this happen or making the trip in general...
