If you have the time, as you indicated earlier, you should be able to do the swap, and install a SC with little out of pocket for labor. Most of the parts come in the Vortech kits - which you can find for sale used on Craiglist for under $2500. It's pretty straightforward. For help, I suggest you post on the forums like Corral, and learn about the swap, then see if you can have a couple of guys to help you on a Saturday - and you provide the beer. That usually will find you a couple of helpers.
