Thread: whats the purpose of extended wheel studs?

    Well drag cars have them for the following reason: If your making a pass down the track and a wheel comes off it helps the wheel seperate from the car, and not get stuck up under the fender causing a greater accident. If the wheel falls off the car will just stop,if the wheel aint under the car. But if the will stays under the car it can cause you too loose worse control and flip the car also..

    Why street cars have them, i have no clue!!!

    they are an expensive ricer mod. thats makes them look like they are somebody.
