I used to live in the "honda sucks, they have nothing fast, etc." mentality. But lately I see the big picture from their point of view as far as economical affordable cars. That's pretty much always been their focus. And for the most part I think they are, until very lately, doing things right. So they kept doing things the same way, riding off of the recession and poor sales from American companies. But I think they got too comfortable, toyota as well as Honda. Honda definitely appears to be resting on its success. As I said in a previous thread, the Civic will be the sign of what's to come.

Hyundai and Kia have done an EXCELLENT job of taking advantage of the recession. The have created great products and also capitalized on the "made in America" facets of their business. I have seen and spoken with multiple older "buy American" couples that have purchased Sorentos solely because Kia brought employment opportunities to the fine citizens of GA.
