    Default Best sounding muffler

Hopefully when Dallasb gets back from VA, I'll have a boosted civic. I have tried to look on youtube, what do you guys think the best sounding muffler is on a boosted B18B? Nothing raspy or annoying, I have kids so it needs to be decent at cruising speeds, but nice and deep at WOT. I had a cheap #1 Drag cat-back on my DC2 and it sounded awesome, but I think my dual chamber AEM V2 intake had a lot to do with that.

ES Tuning or vibrant. Also pick up the biggest resonator you can fit.

Yeah, if I didn't have kids I'd run it straight....still might get a cutout. But I was thinking of just getting something like Magnaflow or Flowmaster.

This is my car with a Magnaflow muffler. The setup is 3" turbo back with no resonator. It's a little too loud for me, and I just ordered a Vibrant Streetpower unit to change it out with. There is also a little drone in the lower gears that goes away when I'm on the highway. Engine is a stock Saab 2 liter turbo so it's going to sound much different than your Honda, but it will give you an idea how loud it is.

It has a 2.5" turbo back now, just has a stock LS muffler. I like to hear my car, just don't want the pissed off bee sound.

Greddy Evo, Greddy SP, Apexi WS, Thermal. Those would take first pick with me if that was something I was looking for.

    Hands down, Greddy.

Bump from the dead. Ended up going with the Magnaflow, I wanted a smaller tip (not a 4" can style) Looks factory and sounds good, I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

Borla is a good choice. I went with Borla, because it wasn't the norm with my car. Everyone is going HKS, Vibrant, and Corksport. 3" exhaust 3" Borla Pro XS muffler and 18" summit racing glasspack. Its so easy to do the same thing as everyone else with Hondas. If you have a chance to be unique, take it.
