Also what you don't need is the rods shot peened and polished, but ARP does recommend you get the big end re sized. I did per their reccomendation.
Balancing is a good thing though, just make sure you have everything in the rotating assembly, well minus the clutch and flywheel for obvious reasons(out of balance possibly with the change of a clutch/flywheel selection). Just make sure you have your pistons,rings,crank gear, crank pulley and bolt and you should be gravy. GL with the build. It should go smoothly since its a really simple engine.
