Looking at the 1st graph, if you guys did a 60mph roll, both of you would be in 3rd gear. Evan would have a massive power advantage from 60mph to just over 80mph when he shifts into 4th and you continue in 3rd.

Pretty much sums up what I've always felt the outcome would be. pretty tight in the midrange, but given a long enough run, mike would pull away.
