there are quite a few companies that have ITB set-ups for the S2k.
TWM has the introduction kit for the S2k. Good starting point, but hasn't shown the gains as some of the higher end pieces. But, it's also a lot less of the price, hence introduction piece.

o why o why... ITBs look so good bolted on a engine sitting on a engine stand in the show room of a shop. I was at JG once and Javier had a engine built with ITBs, man it was pretty.. This was before he stole $20k from us that is..

Running a BMW with open stacks that see's four seasons of the year and several miles of long dirt roads and driveways in the N. Ga mountains more than 2x a month is absolute suicide. There is a reason Alpha-N cars are typically for the track only. Plus, the resonance the box makes is a way cooler sound than running them open

Itbs=most overrated na part known to man. It's the new Jdm fanboy ricer part

looks cool and sounds cool but for 99% of the honda world they are a waste of money. Gixxer1000s are too small anyway. It's all a out size and depth . Most people just think omg itbs!!!! Toda b series itbs suck and cost people power not add. Ask black r and Len

Len had vtec killers ctr pistons toda itbs and aem in his itr motor and made like 205whp lol. He was pissed

99% of people think itbs=mad horsepower

they don't give you tons of peak hp they give you lots of midrange. They were designed for road racing not drag racing. However in a 15:1 drag motor they work when properly sized as they feed more air than a standard plenum can.

Toda itbs on an s2000 is gay. Stock motor would see like a 1-10whp gain for $6000. Not so "sick" IMO

i agree with you completely, i was just poking fun. ITB's in my opinion are utilized for throttle response and high end power used in road racing. but yes, the S2k with tuning sees about 20whp from ITB's from what I can remember.

    lol this is funny.

but they are definately not for stock engines they might make better midrange but as far as peak goes they normally only make around 5-10hp the midrange torque is where it's at. my car made 16ftlb's of torque over a edelbrock performer x and 10 peak hp over the same manifold.
they can be a huge pain in the ass to tune and for power the injector needs to be placed as far away from the head as possible but the same thing that makes extra power hurts drivability alot. so it's not really worth it for most engine setups

who gives a shit about practicality and useable hp? This thing is sick and if you have $6k to drop for 10hp on a $15k car, you probably have everything else you could want/need.
