There is a way to stagger a front driver, but you would put the larger/wider stuff in front and the narrower stuff in the rear. Pontiac actually did this with some of the V8 equipped Grand Prixs and the agreement was that it was a huge benefit. It reduced torque steer and even added a bit of oversteer
