Default RANDOM!!: Integra pplz...What do you think? USDM vs JDM front ends...

Saw a similar thread to this one im making another Honda forum, and the result somewhat suprised me... Now, since the result on a different forum suprised me, and ive already made a prediction as to what most of IA is going to say when it comes to this, id like to see what actually comes of it. Just vote! You dont even have to post up if you don't want to...

i like the jdm front don't get me wrong. but it just doesn't look as race oriented to me for some reason. i have always liked the usdm one better. now when i saw the ukdm. i like that one WAY better. that shit looks more aggressive then the other to by far.

Si-VTEC...I know its not a choice...but your question is a lil deeper than one choice. The DC2/4 chassis presents a lot of "conditions" built in that would make either choice desirable...

butyeah, 94-97 front with the j-spec OEM lip is my favorite...(essentially the 94-97 USDM front with j-spec corners and a lip)

sorry to make your thread complicated...lol

jdm ftw if you are a integra owner and you have had your car with the usdm front, you know why! light output light output light output! i had a hid kit with my usdm front and couldnt see clearly at all. I did the jdm conversion and i see 100 times better at night i love my front end but if i was to build another integra it would have the ukdm front end. I have told so many ppl about that front end its not funny but nobody seems to want to do it. Shipping is a bitch from the UK but its well worth it to set yourself apart from the crowd

fyi light output is the same, how do i know? ive taken apart both usdm headlights and jdm headlights. both the lenses AND projector housings are exactly the same... so in theory clean usdm lights will produce the exact same light pattern as jdm ones. just a heads up

Cleaned and properly aimed with the correct bulbs and you can see just fine and they're as good or better than any other car with projectors. The '97+ lights do seem to be a little better but that's probably only because all '94-97 need cleaning and polishing...

that is strange then i have had my car next to a 00 gsr and we have the exact same hid kit and yet mine was brighter and i could see alot better we even switched cars and he agreed mine was better

i wouldnt have the balls to take my jdm headlights apart so if you say they are the same then ill take your word for it.

especially on 4 doors. jdm fronts look good on the 2 doors but on db's they look too much like accords to me. that's why i never went with one on my db.

i have had a a 95 teg, then did a 98 conversion.....now i have a 99 teg with a jdm conversion. it is kind of geting played out. lol. im not gonna lie, it gets old when someone asks you "is that an accord?" or my all time favorite, "do you need any parts for your DA?"

i would rather have the ukdm front conversion. thats just me.

jdm front end ftw! looks way cleaner than the usdm end and IMO better than the ukdm front end. i get tired of my bubble lights. and yea it does look like the accord front end but o well, if some1 confuses a jdm front end teg for an accord they must be noobs.

I prefer both front ends but if I had a US type R I would keep it with the factory front.. any other integra would be a jdm front....

and btw I know who's cars these are.......
