i had a prelude and now i have a b16 only thing i like my b16 trans but not enough power, i like my h22 because torque but trans was a lil too long i say go Si and build if you go with a lude same build both are great 93-96 ludes not the 5th gens.

both are great choices, the b16's in stock form are damn near indestructible, but it doesn't have the torque/hp of the h22, however the si is a bit lighter and makes up for it. I personaly would get the si and you can always snag up a b20 short block later if you need more power

99-00 SI all day.......my sohc is just as fasst as a prelude..97-01 preludes they are just too heavy...if you want a prelude the 93-96 VTEC model's came with h22 and they are 15.0-15.2 1/4 mile stock
