    Default Boosted Y7 fluctuating idle

Ok, I got a new throttle body, throttle body gasket, intake manifold gasket, and an IACV, and my idle keeps bouncing from about 2k-4k!

I'm at a loss, and I don't know what it could be?

i thinkin what he^^^ said is correct i had an issue like this it was leakin from behind the throttle body and one time another car was taking in air through that idle screw thing all i did was put a dab of rtv on it and it was fixed .i would check all my vac lines for any damage and make sure they are routed correctly also.. good luck

It's not tuned yet, but my appointment is on Monday. Scotty did the basemap on a P28, I believe. Right now, the only CEL is the o2 sensor, and I don't have it plugged up yet due to my downpipe not being fabbed yet. I just wanted to get everything straight before I made the trip to Dallas only to blow it up again.

Just a more detailed run-down... I bought the Y7 froom Josh (Tech5), and he assured me everything was stout, and I believe him. No coolant leaks.

I bought an auto OBD1 integra throttle body- from Travis (silversol), and a new gasket. It turns out the gasket was actually a manual gasket, so I just ordered an auto gasket replacement. Will this affect my idle?

I'm not 100% certain that all of my vac lines are correct, and that's really what I need help on. My mechanic installed my entire boost setup before, and I put EFVERYTHING back where it was. I have buddies with boosted civics, but for some reason, they just can't seem to make it to the crib... . But phuck it. I just want to get tuned, and be done with this jizz!!

I just snagged up my digi-cam and took a few shots of my vac and coolant lines.

The three open ports were all blocked off while the car was running.
The vac line on the left-side goes to the BOV
The vac line on the left-top goes to the boost gauge
The vac line 2nd from top right goes to the Wastegate
The vac line on the top-right goes to FPR

Now, the coolant line that's on the top left side of the intake manifold, runs to the right side of the throttle body and back out to the IACV, and the other coolant line from the IACV runs to the coolant port behind the motor.

an easy was to find vac leaks is by spraying carb cleaner around the engine bay. when the idle changes your HOT or COLD get it>

On a friends Lude, i just helped to boost, there's that thing with a breather cap on it. On an EF, or EG i believe they're on the firewall, or bolted to the back of the intake manifold. I just unplugged it, and it worked. His is just to the front of his pass. inner fenderwell.

Until I unplugged it, it had a CEL and erratic idle. Once I unplugged that, his piggy back started working, car quit smoking, cel went off, and it runs fine.

IRC, shouldnt the WG be ran directly from a 0+ source? like, the compressor?

Ok let me run this for you 1 time 1 line runs from compressor to bottom of wg leave top of wg open no line at all.Run you blow off valve straight to your throttle body air source.and run your boost gauge with a y fitting off your vc line, can looking thing in the far right of your picture that is running to the far right of the system.Oh!! and i wouldn't use that thing at all and if you use a manual bc put it in the middle of the compressor to the bottom of the wg line
I check sluts off my list like a maintnence man
I drive a low is3 just so it gives me a reason to drive super slow on these rough ga roads.
