i would suggest nothing financed, maybe an older sedan thats just fine for dd. when you got the cash to burn to make something fast, then buy a good platform. perhaps an accord? cheap, honda reliable, parts are easy to find if needed, inexpensive. i would look into an older 3 series coupe. but good luck, sucks about the rex.


deals are out there. my old roommate picked up an early 90s F250 running perfect, good body and interior for $750. just high miles and no ac. just keep lookin.
