Personally I'd avoid the Rodeo. That GM engine is...eh. When I worked at Honda there was a reason there was 4-6 Passport blocks sitting on the floor at any given time lol!

Let's just say I'd choose a 4runner over it. Here's one with 100k for $4,100

Anytime. The Hoerunners are pretty much bulletproof. For reliability and simplicity I'd take it over the Rodeo/Passport, Pathfinder, or Discovery. I've owned and/or worked on them all. They do drink gas though, just not as bad as the Disco lol!

Find one you really like and throw down an hours labor at a Toyota dealership to have it inspected, there's a few Toyota master techs that are members on here that would probably do it on the side for a deal too.
