    Default Best tire fitmet for 17" for 240sx

    I'm planning to put a set of 17x7"s on my 1992 240sx what's the best tire size i should go with for best fitment give me some ideas.

    All depends on ride height of the car, width of the rim and the offset of the rim. In your case, 17x7 will look skinny under the car esp. considering pretty much all 7" wide wheels are high offset (+40 or higher). You could squeeze a 225-40/17 on there. I'd honestly recommend tossing the 7"s and get something at least 8" wide if you don't want to look like a fat chic on stilts. There are TONS of wheel choices in 17x8 for 240s.

    agreed. for 240s, 7 inch wide wheels are gonna look too skinny. def gotta go with 8s
