Default ADMIT IT: You Were a Ricer, Riciest Thing you've ever done!

Back when I was 16 (10 years ago) I had an automatic nissan altima. I couldn't drive a 5 speed at the time However, I had a friend which I looked up to, that had a 5 speed eclipse. We were on the way down to 5th Gear (Who Remebers that shop?)

Anyway..on the way there we're coasting on the highway and he throws it in neutral and revs his engine. I thought that was the coolest shit ever so i
    P
    R
N] Dropped my shit in neutral too and revved back
    D
    2
    1

Later that day i called a service rep @ bill newton nissan and asked if it was safe to drop an auto in neutral and rev the engine while driving...he said he wouldn't recommend it. LoL I was displeased at his response.

Well, I did it around town anywayzz. Vroom VRoom VROOMMMMMMM! With my Tsudo Exhaust.

Tell the truth, you Riced at times, we're all in this together!!!

My first car did not have a man pedel either. But instead of reving up at people, I would park and leave it in "N" and pull up the parkin brake. So that peolpe would not see the reverse lights flash and know it was an auto.

    Fun times

my very first car was a STUDY on rice-ology. I had an '84 civic hatchback (the ugliest car on earth to start with) that was flat black, on painted stock alloy wheels, with a red neon behind the front grill, a 5" tach (on a stock engine) MOMO racing bucket seats, a big stereo that sounded ok but looked like SHIT, and a cut off muffler that was loud as all hell.

I miss that car, it was so fun to not give a shit.

My old car was an automatic that at the time was in need of a new carb. (it wasn't ricey, just setting it up for my ricey mentality)

Anyways, I had a friend riding shotgun and a bunch of people (some friends included) were hanging outside. The friend talked me into doing a burnout. I did and then right when I started moving forward I let off the gas. My finicky carburetor didn't like this so my car immediately stalled. At which point I wanted to restart my car and quickly get out of there, so without thinking I slammed it back into park...while still rolling forward. Clunk clunk clunk. Then I cranked it back up and drove off.

The car was completely fine, and I actually didn't hear anything about it later, but damn I felt like a dumbass/douche bag.

When I was 15, 8 years ago I stumbled upon aj-racing.. they were a spoon dealer. I fell in love with it. Even when "stock" cars were rice. always hated bodykits. Never had painted interior or none of that. and now I hate the monster JDM has grown into. My first car was a 91 DX hatch with a Z6 swap and Si wheels.

Dual exhaust on my 1st gen 4dr integra was definitely rice. Cat, resonator, & Ansa muffler with two tips. I was rocking a full roof rack in '97-98 WITH a full suspension bike and kayak though...$1,600 bike frame with a $3k car to carry it haha!

The riciest thing I did on the Z32 was unbolt the stock mufflers so the inside nut was on the outside hole giving straight pipes right at the rear axle. Looked completely factory but everybody said it sounded like a V8 with flowmasters lol.

At the axle back there are two bolts and two nuts on each pipe. I would remove both nuts and align the inside hole of the axle back with the outside hole of the axle forward. Then just put one bolt in and tighten down.

Disclaimer: Not my car, that thing needs to be scrubbed and cleaned, and painted underneath

It's the equivalent to having a cut-out but takes a few minutes to do the first few times. With a ratcheting box-end wrench and a rag I could do it in seconds.

X2, my first car was a 1994 CX hatch with a salvaged/repaired title that i bought for $4000. Nothing done to it but a cheap ass ebay header and exhaust and a K&N filter.

i was sort of a ricer...i had the flashy rims, painted calipers, but never did do neons or crazy amounts of stickers and such

my 95 civic, shortly before regaining my senses

notice the purple box on the firewall?

spraying the d-series back in the day

i came back to my senses and this is what the car looked like when i sold it, had the turbo z6 in it at this point with the dsm smic you couldn't see, so noone had a clue

and i bought my fair share of kumho tires back in the day, could get two new ones mounted and balanced for about $200 at my local tire place, i think i only changed my rear tires once the whole time i owned those rims, lol, hell when i got rid of those horrid focals i swapped the rear tires to those rims in the above picture and bought two new ones for the front, lol

ZEX is the WORST Nitrous system on planet Earth. My 50 shot put only 21 to the wheels, 75 shot added 47. How do I know? My car was strapped to the dyno before, during and after I put it in. Later the "brain" shorted out... ZEX did send me a new one no questions asked... Which later burst into flames.

I ripped it out and replaced it with a NOS system, although I didn't get two of the big ones... and I didn't need them by that night.

I see your CRX and raise you... Looks like we had the same Motegi wheels
    Notice, Aerogear hood and fenders

Monster tach and AFC on the dash

Actually my favorite part (besides the motor) was the taillights. Clear tails I painted with 7 coats of candy apple red.

Then I put on some vinyl for a show, was too lazy to take it off for months.

Sorry the pics are so crappy, they are pictures of pictures. I had no digital camera back in '99

I had a '00 Galant, only lowered the front, had enough stereo to tuck the back tires. This was after I squished all of the fluid out of the shocks in my previous vehicle, Blazer, and had to have Z71 shocks put in to counteract the ~600 lbs. of stereo in the back.
I don't think I did anything too ricey, unless you count neon string in the shape of a Mitsubishi emblem, strobes, and a ton of neon lights (literally about ten of them, green and blue).
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground...
