At the axle back there are two bolts and two nuts on each pipe. I would remove both nuts and align the inside hole of the axle back with the outside hole of the axle forward. Then just put one bolt in and tighten down.

It's the equivalent to having a cut-out but takes a few minutes to do the first few times. With a ratcheting box-end wrench and a rag I could do it in seconds.
