my lude has 18xxxx miles and still runs great. as long as it was taken care of then its all good. also if it's a good price.
x2 if its nice and your getting a good deal then go for it, H22's aren't that expensive. So I'd worry about the rest of the car and the price.Originally Posted by Arm&hammer

the price is below 2k. it has alot of mugen parts on it, so he has spent the money. he has sent the pics but lives about an hour away. just wondering if it was worth the drive.
mugen parts dont mean $hit if he beat the piss out of tho.

thats true. i know he drove the hell out of it because he said at one point he made it a drag car.
like most old cars id say look for rust. try to verify if its a southern or california driven car, and get one with the body and interior in good shape. If the interiors in good shape than it means they actually caredOriginally Posted by 97lude
other than that, most everything else can be easily replaced. Ill put it this way. The prelude in my sig is rolling up on 200,000 miles...but thats ONLY on the chassis I have replaced or refinished most everything else on the car and it drives better than ANY other "stock" used car i have ever been in.
show it alot of love and dont skimp on parts! ALWAYS get the good shit, and you will be fine.
2k If it runs, has good parts, has a good body, u better buy it or let me know and I willOriginally Posted by 97lude

Just get a compression test...
whats the price, cause im sure i can beat it with the one ill sell you
if anyone is interested, just pm me. its a red 99 with 114grand on the body. but has a fresh jdm h22 in it with about45thousand on it, always has gotten the oil changed. only problem is the bumber needs to be sanded then painted, i have another one to go with it though, we will let it go for 5500$
anyone can pm me for pictures
just be careful and make sure it hasn't been ran hard a lot. Be extra careful if it is a H22A4. The FRM sleeves only have a thin chromoly layer that if worn off will cause the engine to have a loss of compression and smoke like a diesel.
