    Default Style or safety?

Ok so I have been debating this for a while now. I have always loved the look of a aftermarket steering wheel but have always just stayed with the stock just because of the airbag. So here is my question...

Style or safety. Would you swap the steering wheel out of your car and sacrifice safety just for the look?

    I wouldn't.
I would rather have the airbag than to be stylish.
And in your case you have the s2k steering wheel which doesn't look bad at all.

Never knew people bought aftermarket wheels for style, but I'd go with whatever feels best.

I mean the same should be asked about a Cusco roll bar...style or safety?

there are actually many flip vehicles, especially s2000's, where the cusco roll bars have been seen to hold up. Now I am not in no way saying I would replace my factory roll bars and trust the cusco one...but it couldnt hurt.

Thats why I still have my OEM hoops in

    Good, don't lol.

Cuscos are a joke, not legal in ANY type of motorsport for a reason.

    Sorry to thread jack.

I say stock S2K wheel if the interior is stock, I like those stock wheels.

If you wear a seatbelt all the time then go with the aftermarket...the seatbelt will catch you before your head makes it to the steering wheel..

But I would save my money for another mod

I would only remove the steering wheel if I had a 5-point harness that I wore all the time, which would mean it probably wouldn't be my DD.

I say keep the stock steering wheel just in case you do ever get in a wreck. I drive a S2000 and with it being convertible and so small I want to keep every safety feature possible.
