Default The Sentra is Soo Close

So close to 200whp that its just mocking me now. Today I dynoed the sentra at Mainstream to break the 200whp barrier. My sentra failed me once again by .42hp. I ran it back to back for 25ish pulls so Im sure if I let it cool down for 10/15min it would have pulled 200+. I'll be back with the .42hp. I also have my timing set to standard, but I need a chip burner to unlock the extra 10-15hp, so I might wait till I get that before dynoing again. Either way, I'm proud of the little turd.

A Sr20ve makes 187 crank. Mine stock, with stock sentra exhaust made 167whp on the automatic ecu (7100 rev limit). I dont know what that amounts to crank wise though.

looks slow. The TQ production is what I like - especially w/ no power adder.

A turbo would do what?.......blow it up, you couldn't run hardly any boost on this, compression is way too high

Thanks fellas for the complements. The compression is stock @ 10.3:1. Alot of people think it is 11:1 including myself when I first got the motor. But it is the rare Sr20ve 20v that has the 11:1 compression rather than the regular sr20ve. CP does make some 12.5:1 pistons for the ve now. Ive been thinking about them for the past year. Wonder how much power that would make.

12.5:1 would be sick, and put some nice rods in there also. Everyone says the N1 intake mani is pretty damn good if you can find one.
