So what are your suggestions? I'll gladly take them into consideration. I tell the customers where their car will be stored, I tell them when it will be worked on, we never suggest a person bring their car until we are ready to work on it and finally....we have a waiver drawn up by my attorney that all of the customers sign stating (I'll cut and paste for you) "I hereby authorize the above work to be done along with the necessary material and hereby grant you and/or Batlground's employees permission to operate the vehicle herein described on the street, highways or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and/or inspection. I also acknowledge that Batlground requires that I carry insurance for my own car. By signing this, I agree that I and/or my insurance will be held responsible for any damage to the car itself or its contents, including fire, theft or vanadalism." I think we covered all of our bases incase an incident like this ever happened. Our attorney seems to think so![]()
