lookin to do a motor swap in an 88 CRX
I am looking to do a motor swap in a 1988 honda CRX dx. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go to get a good motor for under $2500.00? I NEED TONS OF HELP. I have had it seems like a million people tell me where to go and how to do the swap so I am kinda overwhelmed. If anyone can tell me where to get a good motor can you tell me: What mods can give me the most horsepower for not a lot of money, motors that dont require a lot of mods to swap out.
talk to VtecKidd...ive never been to his shop but he has a lot of good references and hes alot of help. 2500 would get u a b16a1 swap,labor n all probably, and maybe have a lil left for mods or gas. but i suggest talkin to him, he helped me decide what swap to go with in my 91 crx dx. later

PM me, we can do a b16 for that and till have money left over for aftermarket parts (cams, Intake manifold, Clutch, flywheel) etc. i can get motors from Steve at HMO or NadAuto or Best Japenese, or a host of other places locally and nation wide.

I used to have a b16 CRX, Built GSR CRX, now i have a 2.0l All Motor CRX. I know my EFs and i know where i can save you money and get you the best bang for your buck. let me know if you need any other help.
