    Default gsr turbo bad vibration?

    made a pass last night at commerce at 16lbs. an it backfired 3 times durring the run and i slowed down and after that whenever i get my motor at 2300,3000,3400 rpm i get a vibration i drove it home and it drove fine there is still that vibration havnt had anytime to check i think its a motor mount

    anybody ever had this happen or got any odeas

    every turbo honda I see at commerce backfires at least three times...

    check plugs, cap, rotor, motor mount, axles.

    backfire makes me think ignition issue, but if you had a mount going then the motor torqued hard enough it could've busted the mount that was already bad.

    new plugs new rotor button and cap mounts r original so im guessinng mounts it runs fine only backfired then now it just vibrates when i get near certain rpms other than that it runs fine??

    if it vibrates at certain rpm then it's probably mount or axle related since it happens at a certain rpm.

    yeah the motor is sitting low on the driver side cv axle boot is like 1/2 cm. from the frame!!

    i ran 14.2 shitty run if it wasnt backfiring and i didnt let out i would have run under 13 which is still slow as hell

    well i figured out the complete problem today!!

    being lazy me i let a shop change my upper driver side mount well they only put one bolt into the side of the block and there was so much tork it rip it off the block and took a good chunk out of my block so i got screwed on that end!! so now theres only two bolts in that mount!! shitty as hell!!

    so only 2 bolts holding the mount onto the engine?

    check the the half shaft. IDK but i had a similar problem and i bought a new half and the vibration is gone. But idk im just throwing that out there maybe it could help....

    see if a plug wire may have popped off! that would explain the back fires and the vibration. also could be a stressed axel seperation..
