Default OBX top mount manifold good/bad

i have used the ssautochrome twisted ram and the welds cracked i had them re tigged and then one of the pipes cracked so i got my stick welder and coated the hell out of it?

I am a very cheap person i saw the OBX top mount it has a limited lifetime warranty?? dont no how far that goes but i like the way it looks i am pushing right at 400 with the manifold i have now so i am wondering what will the obx do for me or should i just expect it to crack?
i am also cutting the vband off and tigging on a 38 mm flange

I NEED OPINIONS OBX OR NOT???

you probably should not be worried about boosting your car then unless you just enjoy wasting money on shit parts everytime they go out. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME

    x2 on post #5 & #6.

Never cut corners. I've found out it always costs more to save money. Do it right the first time, then you don't have to worry as much.

thats a differnet story all though peakboosts manifold cracked. Peakboost gives a LIFETIME warranty on all their manifolds, so you can send them back and they will fix it/give you another manifold for as long as you have the manifold. Hence you get what you pay for. if you spend your money on a decent or even high quality manifold more than likley the company who made will warranty it against any cracking or defect for life.

If your that worried about manifold cracking get a log cast manifold like inline pro ( thats what i have and im very happy). Like every1 just said do it right the first time.

OBX is one of my favorite brands. Their exhaust for my car sounds really great (one of the best I have heard) for a very low price.

I think they will become a major brand here in a couple of years.

    And off topic...

OBX will never be a major brand, they will continue to be a good KNOCK OFF company, some of there stuff and by some i mean like 1 item is worth a damn. The rest is plain garbage. The manifolds trash themselves fairly quickly. An exhaust doesnt have much load on it so it will last a little longer. OBX has been in the game already for several years and still continue to disappoint.

Also peak boost has never been a company to bring up when discussing reliably built hardware.

Spoolin Performance makes some top notch manifolds as well.

And yea ^ how would a KNOCK-OFF company become a major brand when they just copy real brand name products?

their manifolds are topnotch bro. 500 is a great price, used? Peakboosts says on the website "LIFETIME WARRANTY, which makes it the last turbo manifold you ever have to buy"

i never understood why people like to be cheap.. and if people are going to say cause they don't have the money.. i just tell them.. save up some money and then buy what you really want instead of settling for something not as good... i guess people like spending money for no reason..

A car is nothin.. to go cheap on anyway.. it doesn't matter what you do.. but you want to go cheap on a turbo car.. Well since you like fixing cheap stuff all the time.. you must have money to always fix things.. if you always take the easy way out on evrything..

Don't be cheap and get a good manifold. Neukin makes great manifolds with a lifetime warranty, doubt you will need it.
